200 pounds of ganja seized in Burnt Savanna

Two hundred pounds of compressed ganja was seized on Tuesday, September 3, by detectives assigned to the St Elizabeth Police Division in Burnt Savanna.

Reports are that between the hours of 5:30 pm, to 6:30 pm, police officers were in the area when an abandon building was searched.

During the search the ganja was found in four knitted bags.

The illegal drug has an estimated street value of JMD 2,160,000 dollars.

No one was arrested in relation to this seizure.
