23-year-old chef charged after wounding man in Hanover

Twenty-three-year-old Patroy McKenzie, otherwise called ‘Bollo Don,’ a chef of Blenheim district, Dias, Hanover, has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident in the parish on Saturday, November 1.

Reports from the Lucea Police are that at about 9:45 pm, McKenzie and another man were involved in an altercation during which he used a machete to inflict chop wounds to the man’s body. The man was assisted to the hospital, where he was admitted.

On Thursday, November 20, a report regarding the incident was made to the police, and McKenzie was arrested during a targeted operation on Friday, November 28. He was subsequently charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.

His court date is being arranged.
