$3.6M purse for second leg of SVL Triple Series on Saturday

With a handsome $3.6-million purse, the second leg of the SVL Triple Series – The Pick-3 Super Challenge Trophy – will stage its 16th running this Saturday (November 27).

This race is for native bred two-year-olds, at a distance of 1400 metres, and horses that dominate in this series often go on to enjoy successful, storied careers.

Among those horse are champions Bruceontheloose, Princess Pop Star, She’s A Maneater, Wow Wow and Further and Beyond.

The third and final leg is the longest standing race on the Jamaican racing calendar, the 110th running of The SVL Jamaica 2-Y-O Stakes (GR I) on December 27 over 1600 metres for a purse of $4 million.
