Known for his series Wat A Grand Can Do‘, Jermaine Watson is quickly teaching more Jamaicans ways they can be frugal with their spending habits.

Here are five things to know about Jermaine Watson.

1. Gets mistaken for a soldier regularly

Although his warm personality is evident in his video content, Watson says that people who don’t know him often mistake him for someone militant like a soldier or police officer.

“I find it funny because I’m probably one of the nicest persons around.”

2. Has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science

Watson studied computer science for his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus.

3. He really is always on a budget

Watson says that the show is a direct reflection of himself. He really lives his life while always on a budget.

4. Big fan of anime and video games

Without knowing about his background and love for all things tech, you wouldn’t even make the connection that Watson is a gaming and anime fan. In his own words, “I love them and that is capital L-O-V-E.”

5. Mama’s boy

By Watson’s own words, “I am the wash-belly in my family (the youngest and spoiled sibling). I love my mother to heart.”
