Almost became a Lawyer!

While she absolutely loves her job and enjoys economics-related material, White initially enrolled in university to pursue her LL.B.

“I spent my first year in university pursuing a Law Degree and very quickly realised it wasn’t for me. We all have at least one animal that we truly love. White happens to be an elephant lover, who has been collecting elephant souvenirs for years.

It is widely known that elephants are highly intelligent animals with complex emotions, feelings, and self-awareness. Elephants have always been considered sacred animals, although the spiritual symbolism of elephants may differ within cultures.

“I think elephants are magnificent creatures, as they represent wisdom, good luck, and protection in cultures all over the world. When I was nine, I started collecting elephant figurines, and now I have a collection of over 20 figurines of varying sizes and colours from around the world.”

White says she is a lover of food and enjoys trying new foods and restaurants.

Loves food but the Kitchen not so much!

We know that cooking can be quite therapeutic for many, however, in White’s case the kitchen can be quite stressful, but she is still a true foodie at heart.

“One of my favourite things to do is eat. I love trying new foods and new restaurants. It’s a great way for me to spend time with my friends and family enjoying a good meal. As much as I love food, however, I don’t enjoy preparing it! You will very rarely find me in the kitchen,” White said.

White describes herself as a carnival junkie who have been to quite a number of carnivals.

She is an avid reader.

Reading is an important learning experience. It stimulates one’s imagination and increases your knowledge base and White happens to enjoy a good book every now and then.

“I think reading those stories with plots so far removed from reality is a great way to relax and unwind. It provides me with a little escape so I can reset and recharge.”
