Dr Terri-Karelle Reid is a well-known Jamaican media professional, who over the years has continued to wow audiences with her all-rounder personality.
Determined not to allow society to put her into a box, Reid continues to embrace her individuality and multi-talented personality.

1. She’s a lover of pets
Reid has been a pet lover for as long as she can remember. In fact, while growing up in Portmore, St Catherine, she owned many pets, 26 to be exact.
2. She holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine
From her love of pets developed a lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.
In the year 2000, she received a full scholarship to pursue this dream by studying in Cuba.
Unfortunately, however, upon her return to Jamaica, she learned that the veterinary board does not accredit students who study veterinary medicine in Cuba.
3. She once held the Miss Jamaica World title
In the year 2005, Reid entered the Miss Jamaica World beauty pageant and won.
During this time she received the moniker ‘Your Jamaican Girl’ because she wore her afro, representing the appearance of the Jamaican population, throughout the pageant and on the Miss World stage in Sanya, China.
4. She is fluent in Spanish
Though studying Veterinary Medicine in Cuba did not work out quite the way she had planned, there was one benefit to be gained.
Thanks to her years of study in the Spanish speaking country, she became inadvertently fluent in the language, an advantage that makes her attractive as an event host internationally.
5. She is a mother
In the year 2012, she endured the life-altering changes that come with being a mother when she welcomed her first child, Naima-Kourtnae Reid, into the world.
