The grade two female student who was abducted from the Braeton Primary and Infant School and found with her throat slashed has died.
Reports from the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s (JCF) Communications Unit are that she passed away this morning (June 10) at the Bustamante Hospital for Children.
The 8-year-old child had been hospitalized in critical condition after undergoing emergency surgery.
Police reports state that she was abducted from her school on Thursday (June 8) and later found by a soldier in Swallowfield, Kingston with her throat slashed. She was admitted to the hospital shortly after.
