Speaking at the event, Franklin Murillo, managing director of Carreras Ltd., in expressing the company’s continued commitment to education and youth development, said: “Today, I am extremely happy. I believe this is the best type of event Carreras can hold as a company. This programme goes beyond education; it’s about the future. When I look at this room, I see so much talent and potential around here, and that’s what our scholarship programme is about—creating a better future and tomorrow for our fellow Jamaicans.”
Murillo reaffirmed that the company will continue to remain dedicated to preventing underage access to tobacco products, as it has done for the past six decades, exemplifying its unwavering commitment to societal well-being and ethical business practices.
