Boom Energy Drink, in partnership with Food For The Poor (FFP) Jamaica, handed over the last of 10 new homes under its ‘Boom with Love’ initiative to 86-year-old Monica Jackson from Treadways District.

Jackson is a retiree who supports her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family has been struggling to make ends meet for many months.

Jackson is now enjoying her brand new two-bedroom home with a bathroom, a kitchen, and a veranda.

“I am overwhelmed with gratitude for this new home. I needed one for a very long time and even gave up hope that I would have my own. The house I was in before was in a very bad condition, so I was very excited when I got the call from Food For The Poor that I would be getting a house,” said Jackson.

“I want to say thank you to the hard-working staff at Food For The Poor for assisting me and to Boom Energy Drink for making this possible,” she added.
