Stationary front inducing trough over Jamaica this week

Jamaicans can expect more cool and windy conditions this week as a stationary front straddles the western Caribbean.
The Jamaica Meteorological Service explained that the front, located just over central Cuba, has induced a trough islandwide as it moves further east.
Being the second frontal system influencing weather in the northwestern Caribbean in as many weeks, the Met Office has anticipated its dissipation by mid-week.
For eastern parishes, Tuesday (March 21) morning begins with isolated showers, while forecasts predict the rest of the country should remain fair and mainly sunny. Afternoon-to-evening showers are in store for central and western parishes, with strong, gusty winds prevailing across southern parishes.
