EBONY Media Group, arguably the most influential Black-owned media company in the world, is headed to the Caribbean to participate in the 2023 Carnival in Jamaica.

As the legacy brand continues to engage the next generation, EBONY will step into this new market in partnership with United Airlines to host celebrities, influencers, and VIP guests during a curated trip to Kingston from April 12 through April 18.

This new international venture supports EBONY’s mission to Move Black Forward as a digital-first brand, allowing the company to extend its coverage of the Black diaspora by tapping into the beauty and rich culture of the Caribbean. EBONY’s presence in Jamaica will present several opportunities for the brand to optimise strategic partnerships and expand the company’s global reach.

The 2023 Jamaican Carnival experience will provide exciting and original content for the EBONY platform (including EBONY.com and various social media channels) as the company plans to host an exclusive cocktail party and unveil the highly anticipated April digital cover featuring an international star within Jamaica.

The international extension and presence of the EBONY brand in the Caribbean supports the long-term vision of EBONY’s Chief Executive Officer Eden Bridgeman Sklenar, and her commitment to growing EBONY in the new digital era.

“While staying true to EBONY’s history of covering cultural diversity and exploration, this journey into the Caribbean demonstrates our devotion to celebrating the diversity of the black experience.”

This exclusive experience promises to promote the luxury of Black travel, the treasured history of Jamaica, and the celebration of Caribbean culture and its people.
