Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj is set to be the executive producer and lead actor in the animated series Lady Danger.

The series will be based on the Dark Horse comic book series Lady Danger, which was written by Alex de Campi.

Set in 2075, the project follows the life of a government agent who was left for dead by her team after uncovering state secrets. By some miracle she survives and is now an agent of B.O.O.T.I (Bureau of Organized Terrorism Intervention). However, she must conceal her identity as she seeks to destroy the government agency that is harming the planet.

American rapper Curtis James Jackson III, known professionally as 50 Cent, will also join Minaj as an executive producer for the animated series. Additionally, Brian Sher, and Paul Young and Mike Griffin for Make Good Content will be producers for the project.

Seemingly excited about the project, 50 cent shared the news on his social media platforms to which Minaj responded with equal level of enthusiasm.
