Fireworks lit up the sky periodically while patrons sang and danced the night away

The Sandz Caribbean Music Festival was a huge success with the organizers boasting that everyone, who attended had an unforgettable experience. 

Held at Plantation Cove, Ocho Rios last Sunday night, the beach-themed party showcased some of the best music and entertainment from Jamaica, peaking with an energetic performance from acclaimed American artist, Rick Ross. 

People poured into the venue and were first treated to an impressive lineup of DJs, including Bishop Escobar, Creep Chromatic, JR Chromatic, XFactor and Deva Kidd, who kept the party vibes blissfully high.

Dancehall artiste, Tee Jay, then took to the stage and delivered an electrifying performance that warmed up the crowd for the main attraction. When Rick Ross appeared on stage, accompanied by fireworks, the crowd erupted with excitement.

He went straight into his famous hits such as ‘The Boss’, ‘Hustlin’’, ‘Stay Schemin’’ and ‘All I do is win’. Rick Ross’ powerful voice and magnetic presence had the crowd singing and dancing along while sipping on Smirnoff cocktails and capturing the night with photos and videos. 

To enhance the excitement, fireworks lit up the sky periodically, and patrons sang and danced the night away, unable to get enough of the ‘The Teflon Don’ aka ‘ Ricky Rozay’. While Smirnoff was the title sponsor for the event, other brands from the Red Stripe portfolio added their unique touch of excitement to Vacae Weekend 2023. 

These brands included Dragon, Johnnie Walker, Red Stripe Flavours and Guinness. The weekend started on a high note featuring events like Di Lawn and Pan Di Plaza, followed by the Strictly 2k Throwback Music Festival, Sandz Music Festival, Ova Suh, and The Estate.
