Jamaican dancehall artiste Popcaan is proving to be quite a multitalented man, sharing with his Instagram followers this week another video of himself expertly preparing local Jamaican cuisine.

In the backyard setting, Chef Poppy shows us how to prepare jerk pork in his very own way, using his ‘unruly’ jerk pan.

He also showed his secret method of keeping the jerk pot moist, by constantly dipping the partially cooked meat into its marinade.

The other slide showed how Popcaan makes his famous Jamaican fried chicken.

He stirs the chicken in flour before frying it in a Dutch pot on a coal fire.

Popcaan is sure to give KFC a run for its money with his mouth-watering, juicy looking chicken.

It is not a big secret that Popcaan is more than an artiste and more than a businessman, after being raised by the famous ‘Miss Rona’.

Chef Poppy is always showing his followers his competence in the kitchen, while teasing Miss Rona.

If not there, he’s showing a video of himself outside cooking while, as Jamaicans love to say, ‘him a run a boat’.

The Everything Nice singer also praises his grandparents for his talents in the kitchen.

“Me make some a the right set a Sunday dinner for my grandparents, a them grow me!!!,” he said fter showcasing a well done and covered bake chicken, brown-stewed oxtail, curried chicken and rice with peas.

He has shown his followers quite a number of times how much he can do, from making brown-stewed chicken, to fried fish, to pumpkin soup.

The dancehall star prides himself in his cooking skills. He often takes to Instagram to share his pot of the day, except on Sunday (March 14) he took to Twitter, sharing a picture of him in a white apron wearing the name ‘Unruly Chef’ on the front and a chef’s hat with ‘Popcaan’ printed along the base.

Branded in his ‘unruly’ apron, the local artiste continues to show off his fashion style by adding a red handkerchief tied around his neck with his customary ‘unruly’ bling; also practicing proper hygiene with gloves on.
His latest culinary episode on Instagram, shows a cheerful Popcaan who shared a phone number for his followers to call if they were drooling for some of his delicious meals.

“Anyways, who delete me cooking?? As me say before, who want call +1 (876) 899-0946,” he captioned the post.

But don’t get too excited as many fans said in the comments that, when you place a call to the number, you’ll only get voicemail.
