Two inmates escape from Montego Freeport lock-up

The authorities are on the hunt for two inmates that escaped from the Montego Freeport Police Station in St James.

A source inside the Jamaica Constabulary Force confirmed the incident.

Reports are that on Saturday (October 23) between 5:30 a.m and 6:00 a.m the men were among five detainees released from their cell for their morning shower.

 When the group returned, the two men were not present.

The men have been identified as 26-year-old Alex Scott and 29 year-old Ainsley Woodburn. 

According to the police a thorough search revealed no physical break-out points.
