

Berger Paints Jamaica Limited is advising of two changes to its board composition.
Company director Ray Sumairsingh has submitted his resignation, with the board accepting the move at its meeting held on August 4.
The businessman, who originally hails from Trinidad and Tobago, served just over six years in the post after being appointed in July 2017, according to an advisory on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
For its part, the board thanked Sumairsingh “for his invaluable contributions, support, and leadership during his tenure as a director and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
Additionally resolved at the August 4 meeting, the Berger Paints Jamaica board advised that Christian Llanos has been appointed as a director to fill the vacancy created by Sumairsingh’s resignation.
