

Eighty-four-year-old Roy Nesbeth, otherwise known as ‘Tiger’, a farmer from Grange District in Hanover, has been charged with the murder of his wife and her caregiver.
He was charged with two counts of murder on Sunday, August 20.
According to the police, Nesbeth turned himself into the Lucea police on Friday, August 18 and confessed to the killing of the two women.
The police have named the deceased women as 80-year-old Patsy Allen, a retiree of Kendal District in the parish, and 73-year-old Teka Anderson-Nesbeth, a retired nurse and wife of the accused.
Reports are that around 5:00 p.m. Patsy Allen was discovered by a relative who summoned the police. Upon arrival, she was discovered lying on her side and was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The wife of the accused was also reportedly discovered dead in her residence by a relative. An investigation was later launched into the murder of the two women.
Reports are that the death of the two women was linked to a domestic dispute.
A court date is yet to finalised.
