Jamaica rocked by 5.2 magnitude earthquake

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake rocked Jamaica morning around 10: 57 a.m. situated 35 km northeast of Kingston, according to Google alerts.

The earthquake was reportedly felt in other Caribbean countries such as the Bahamas. Haiti, Cuba, and the United States minor outlining islands.

Several persons took to X.com formerly known as Twitter to express their shock after experiencing the magnitude 5.2 earthquake with many expressing that it was the heaviest earthquake that they had experienced in their lives.

Among them is popular dancehall artiste Spice, who wrote “OMG I’m in Jamaica 🇯🇲 who felt that Earthquake just now. My house was rocking ‼️ Is everyone Ok ?”

“What an earthquake! Biggest one I’ve ever felt in my entire life #Jamaica,” another user on X said.

“That earthquake was the heaviest I’ve ever felt in my entire life. Hoping everyone is unhurt. Major damages sustained to infrastructure and glassware. Kingston, Jamaica,” another person said.
