African prints never go out of style, and designer Davio Henry’s (right) ‘Shades of Africa’ collection left patrons in awe at the Red Stripe Flavours ‘Fashion Ova Style’ at the Kingston Creative Artwalk. (L-R) Models Makeda Haber, Ananda Squire, and Zurich Hentley were among those who strutted the collection in style.

Jamaica’s rich heritage was on full display last Sunday, October 29, at the “Fi Wi Heritage” art walk festival on Water Lane in downtown Kingston.

Patrons were treated to diverse flavours of local cuisine and participated in Red Stripe Flavours’ complimentary ‘Paint and Sip’ experiences. Amid the vibrant murals, the festival celebrated the island’s rich tapestry of history and culture.

Nothing beats the Red Stripe Flavours dancers at the Kingston Creative Art Walk Festival event.

The air was filled with the rhythm of folk and dancehall beats, as festival-goers engaged in dance classes that merged both traditions.

A clash of tunes between DJ Fenix and DJ Logon added to the vibrant soundscape, while traditional ring games and storytelling sessions wove together the fabric of Jamaican folklore.

Merritone calypso and steel pan music were the themes of the Red Stripe Flavours sponsored event.

But the festival came alive when reggae artiste Ras-I took the stage, amplifying the mood in the atmosphere with his soulful melodies that echoed the nation’s pride and unity.

The ‘Fi Wi Heritage’ art walk festival was staged by Kingston Creative Art Walk Festival, in collaboration with Red Stripe Flavours.
