Three shot at NCB Portmore branch

Three people were shot and injured at a National Commercial Branch (NCB) branch in Portmore when a Beryllium security guard’s gun accidentally opened fire.

The victims were shot in their legs.

They were rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital for treatment.

Reports are that the security guards were loading money into an ATM machine at the branch when the firearm of one of the guards accidentally discharged, hitting the customers.

Operations at the bank have not been affected.
