Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender

The series is based on the animated fantasy series of the same name.

The series takes place in a world where some people possess the ability to manipulate the elements of water, fire, earth, and air. The story is centred around Aang, a 12-year-old boy found trapped in an iceberg for over 100 years and discovered to be the last person alive with the mystical ability to manipulate the air around him and much more.

Gordon Cormier is set to star as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, and Ian Ousley as Sokka.

The series will consist of eight episodes and is set to premiere on February 22.
