Jamaican rap upstart EDGE is making a triumphant return to the music scene with the upcoming release of new single, 1994, which marks the end of a brief hiatus.

Born James Lawrence, the Mount Edgecombe native says that the track will be available on all major streaming platforms starting Monday (February 12).

EDGE’s musical voyage began in the corridors of his school, where his passion for various music genres flourished. It wasn’t long before he realised that the unique sound he sought was not to be found in the music of others but within himself.

His exceptional talents as an extreme athlete and stuntman have landed him features in numerous local music videos, earning him recognition and collaborations with international brands and publications like HIGHSNOBIETY and OVO Nocta alongside notable artistes like Popcaan and Skillibeng.
