JSE delegation visits President Irfaan Ali in Guyana

Guyanese President Dr Irfaan Ali has met with an executive team from the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE)  at the Office of the President in downtown Georgetown.

The JSE team was led by managing director Marlene Street Forrest as well as marketing and communications director Neville Ellis.

They held discussions on Tuesday (May 14) with Ali focused on exploring collaboration opportunities aimed at advancing Guyana’s financial architecture. 

Dr Ashni Singh, senior minister within the Office of the Guyanese President with responsibility for finance and public service; Tourism Minister of Tourism Oneidge Walrond and Marcia Nadir-Sharma, director of presidential affairs, were also part of the meeting.

The JSE is set to host its second staging of its flagship conference in Guyana on October 8 to 9, at the Pegasus Suites & Corporate Centre in Georgetown.
