Reigning King of Dancehall Vybz Kartel expanded his repertoire on Sunday, September 16 appearing as a guest judge on Digicel’s Rising Star competition.

The ‘Worl Boss’ was accompanied by his fiance Siden Ozturk who sat behind him.

Most only caught the Fever singer’s appearance on clips circulated online after the show aired. The clip showed Vybz Kartel playing his role as a guest judge, sharing his expertise, advising and complimenting contestants.

While advising one young, female contestant, Kartel said, “Mi neva know a suh yuh did young…yuh voice come like one a them big beast deh weh a skate pan di toll, powerful enuh!”

He continued, “See, anytime yuh learn fi manage it, dem cyah hold yuh, yuh hear that, likkle girl? Anytime you learn fi manage dah voice deh, the sky is the limit fi yuh… keep that in mind big up yuh self.”

Social media has been abuzz as it seems in one day Vybz Kartel made an appearance at the People’s National Party (PNP) conference, guest judging on Rising Star and partied at club MECA’s ‘Dolly Sundays’.
