The Jamaica Food and Drink Kitchen continued to captivate culinary enthusiasts with its ‘Off the
Menu’ series’ penultimate event on Thursday, September 12, offering an immersive experience with the
flavours of Asia.

Led by Kamal Singh, executive chef at Mystic Thai Kingston, and Brian
Broderick, master mixologist, the evening celebrated the artistry of Asian cuisine paired with
Tanqueray cocktails.

The night kicked off with an interactive Tanqueray Bramble cocktail session as Broderick
guided guests through a step-by-step mixology tutorial on how to create their own
Tanqueray Bramble cocktail, complete with fresh berries and citrus undertones, setting the
stage for the evening’s exotic menu.

Chef Singh, known for his fusion of bold Thai spices with global influences, guided attendees
through a hands-on cooking session that featured dumplings in red curry with Thai-styled roti.

The attendees followed Singh’s lead by filling their dumplings before immersing them in the
aromatic curry sauce and balancing the dish with the crispy, charred edges of the soft Thai roti.

With a radiant smile and a forkful of gourmet goodness, digital creator Kelli-Ann Younger enjoyed her Thai culinary masterpiece at the exclusive Jamaica Food & Drink “Off The Menu” event. (Photo contributed)

For the grand finale, guests were treated to lychee gin pudding infused with
Tanqueray gin for a modern twist. The sweetness of the lychee blended harmoniously
with the gin’s botanicals, offering a fragrant and refreshing end to the evening.
