Linstead teen charged with murder

Twenty-eight-year-old Christopher Harriman of East Avenue, Linstead, St Catherine has been charged with murder following an incident in Cheesefield district, Linstead in the parish on Sunday, October 6.

Harriman was charged with the murder of 19-year-old Andrew Creary of the Cheesefield district,
Linstead, St Catherine.

Reports from the Linstead Police are that at about 10:30 pm, Harriman was in the Linstead Town Centre when he was attacked by Creary and three other men.

Reports are that Creary hit him with a bottle causing a wound that bled.

Harriman pulled a knife and stabbed Creary to the chest where he collapsed and later died at hospital.

Harriman surrendered to the police where he was charged following a question and answer
session in the presence of his attorney.

His court date is being finalised.
