The Third Annual Throp-X Conference commenced with an exclusive welcome dinner at the family-owned Travellers Beach Resort in Negril.

A select group of fifty influential US-based and diaspora investors have the unique opportunity to gather for the week, connecting and exploring opportunities in the idyllic setting of Negril’s famous Seven Mile beach.

The week-long event offers real estate agents and passionate investors joining throughout the week to participate in the panel discussions.

Winthrope ‘Throp’ Wellington greeted the group enthusiastically, stating, “Thank you for coming all this way to spend the week with us at Throp-X. We all have the same mindset—super pro-Jamaica—and seek opportunities throughout the island, not just in Negril. There will be powerful connections forged over the week. I’m thrilled about the panels—they’re dynamite!”

Real estate investors and Airbnb hosts Cassandra Delpratte and Adrean Delpratt otherwise known as the Delpratt Family are taking their platform to new heights with 50,000 subscribers. They will sit on the panel on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, to discuss future-proofing short-term rentals. (Photo: Contributed)

The week’s highlights include insightful panels for expats and repats who are interested in buying real estate, building their own properties, starting and growing their own businesses, farming and growing their own food, and an exclusive tour of the Pinnacle development in Montego Bay.

Among the guests are YouTube couple Delpratt family and Delano Dowdie, recent property owner of Coral Seas Cliff Hotel.
