President-elect Donald Trump is planning to ban transgender individuals from the US military as part of his intention to restore American greatness, according to The Times newspaper.

Donald Trump indicated that when he takes office on January 20, 2025, one of his first orders of business is to ban transgender individuals from serving in the military.

He is prepared to sign an Executive Order removing around 15,000 transgender people currently in the US military. According to the report in the Times, they will be medically discharged and be deemed unfit for service

“Thank God, Donald Trump is once again president and that our country will be returning to traditional values. The woke crowd and liberal media have been pushing this ‘Transgender’ agenda. Kamala Harris was all for it. That would lead to the destruction of American family values.

“We believe in Christian values and we welcome the return of masculinity. You can’t have ‘trans’ in sports and the military. That’s not what America is about,” said New York policeman Samuel Garner.

Donald Trump tried to do away with “trans” in the military during his first term but got pushback and Biden reversed him when he won in 2020.

As President, Trump wrote then: “After consultation with my generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the US military. Our military must be focused and decisive on overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical cost and disruption that transgender in the military will entail.”

Former Lieutenant-Colonel Frank Stapleton of Fort Bragg said: Trump wants to see the return of American masculinity, men taking their rightful place in society as leaders. That’s what the country voted for this month. Under Trump, men will no longer be marginalised and pay the price for DEI nonsense. Gays and ‘Trans’ have no place on the battlefield.”

Pete Hegseth, Trump’s pick for Defence Secretary made it clear “that trans people are “not deployable and cause complications. America cannot countenance weak, effeminate leadership in the military.”

Commenting on Trump’s plan to ban “trans” from the military, his ally Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote on X, “This will improve recruitment and save money.”

A Sergeant-Major with the Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune said: “I don’t want to get in trouble so I can’t give you my name but I supported and voted Trump. As president, he will give US forces his full support. It is a new order in America and the limp liberal way of doing things is now over. Trump has to now ban gays from the military. You can’t have gays in a hyper-masculine environment. It weakens our military and cohesion as a fighting force. General Patton would never allow it.

“Trans and gays will not make America great again. They will not make the U.S. military the best the world has ever seen. You can’t have DEI dictating who forms military personnel. Do you think there are “trans” in the Chinese and Russian armies? If you are a fighting unit, defending your country then you need strength, not gender ambiguity.”
