

Veteran attorney-at-law Valerie Neita-Robertson, King’s Counsel (KC), has died.
Robertson passed away in the US on Monday at 71 years old.
She was a stalwart in the legal profession and played a vital role in some prominent cases in Jamaica.
A statement from a relative highlighted that Robertson left an indelible mark and legacy given her contribution as a counsel and has helped to uplift youth through mentorship and the Wolmer’s fraternity.
She leaves behind four sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
