Jamaica will be among the Caribbean stops by the popular ‘book ship’ Logos Hope, which returns to the island this summer.

Christian missionary organisation Operation Mobilisation (OM) noted in a social media post that Logos Hope—the world’s largest floating book fair—will make its first of two port calls in Kingston between July 18 and August 20.

Measuring 130 metres in length ship then sets sail for Montego Bay, where it will dock along the northwestern coast from August 21 to September 15.

Logos Hope last visited Jamaica in February 2020, a stopover that was cancelled due to the fast-spreading coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

It has been a busy start to the year for the ship, which has since visited several Caribbean islands, including Port of Spain, Trinidad (December 2024- January) and Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia (January-February), with future ports of call in Greanda and Aruba, respectively this month and in April.
