This weekend, dance enthusiasts are in for a special treat at The Little Theatre, as Pat Noble’s renowned Praise Academy of Dance readies for a concert and ministry dubbed ‘Invitation To Worship!‘.

Although it is a faith-based event, the concert is open to all lovers and connoisseurs of dance.

Christian dance has been traditionally limited in movement and expression of true worship because of restricting belief systems, which have existed in the church and perceptions and expectations outside the church.

However, Noble and her dance crew of proficient teachers and passionate students plan to deliver high-energy, quality performances that are technical, theatrical and spiritual.

Praise Academy’s mission is to utilise dance to convey the message of the good news of who God is and what He requires of His created beings. The dance company provides a positive atmosphere for individuals, ages three to 17 years and adults with training in modern, ballet, jazz, afro-folk and reggae.

Students are expertly taught to express and develop their dance talent while reinforcing spiritual and moral values.
