Infiniti Co-operative Credit Union Jamaica Limited’s members can now enjoy a new level of convenience. This, as the 2nd largest credit union in the country, officially launched its groundbreaking mobile app Wednesday.

The launch of the app follows the credit union’s introduction of a new and improved internet banking platform in 2023, aimed at modernising the credit union through digital technology.

The app, which is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms, is available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The app will allow members to access several services, such as checking balances, making internal and external transfers, while also having the option of paying bills on the go. It’s the kind of forward-thinking functionality traditionally associated with commercial banks—but now proudly offered by Infiniti.

Speaking on the launch of the mobile app, Camille Campbell Drummond, Chief Executive Officer, says this will transform how members are able to do business with the credit union “The launch of our new mobile app is a major step forward in making banking easier for our members. It’s about meeting our members where they are, on the go, anytime, anywhere and giving them the tools to manage their finances with confidence and convenience. This is a key milestone in our broader digital transformation strategy, aimed at creating a seamless, secure and modern banking experience that continues to evolve with our members’ needs.”

Born from the merger of two thriving institutions, EduCom and Gateway Co-operative Credit Unions, Infiniti Co-operative Credit Union stands as a member-focused financial institution, dedicated to delivering exceptional value and service to its growing community. The Credit Union currently operates from its Head Office at 10 Oxford Terrace, Kingston 5, with a network of 12 branches strategically located across Jamaica.

Toderian said his central advice to Jamaica, and to cities worldwide, is that progress is happening too slowly. “Even the things you’re doing well, you’re doing too slowly,” he declared, urging that every effort be accelerated.
