INDECOM, JCF investigate alleged murder, attempted suicide in St Mary

The Independent Commission of Investigation (INDECOM) and the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) are investigating an incident that occurred on 25 June in the Essex district of St Mary.

Reports from the police are that at approximately 9:15 pm, residents reported hearing explosions, prompting their response to the scene.

Upon arrival, the police found two individuals with gunshot wounds. Twenty-one-year-old D’Johnnay Graham, who was pronounced dead at the hospital, and a police constable, who is currently undergoing treatment.

INDECOM was notified, given the involvement of a policeman in what is suspected to be a case of murder and attempted suicide.
