Signature Creed & Associates sets the record straight on EduFocal CFO arrangement

Yesterday, Our Today reported that EduFocal had “dumped” Signature Creed& Associates as its CFO, thus terminating its agreement with the financial advisory company.

Subsequent information received could make this article misleading to our readers as it transpires that the relationship ended after a defined one-year agreement which was dutifully honoured. At the end of that period, the parties went their separate ways.

We apologise for any misunderstanding caused. To be clear, Signature Creed& Associates took the decision not to extend the agreement beyond the original terms.

Below is a statement by Signature Creed& Associates:

I  am writing in reference to the article published on Our Today titled, “EduFocal Dumps Signature Creed & Associates as Its CFO.”

The headline and narrative presented in the piece do not accurately reflect the nature of the engagement’s conclusion between EduFocal and Signature Creed & Associates.

To clarify, Signature Creed & Associates served as EduFocal’s outsourced CFO under a defined 12-month engagement. On May 16, 2025, our firm formally issued a termination letter, confirming our decision not to continue beyond the expiration of the original one-year agreement. This decision was entirely ours and made in accordance with the terms of the engagement. It is therefore incorrect to state or imply that we were “dumped” or unilaterally removed by EduFocal.

We respectfully request that a correction be issued to reflect the accurate sequence of events and preserve the integrity of both organisations involved. We appreciate the role of the media in informing the public and believe that clarity and fairness are critical in ensuring responsible journalism.

Please feel free to contact me directly if any additional details or documentation are needed to facilitate the correction.

We are committed to responsiveness, diligence and integrity.
