The popular gaming and lounge spot, 100 in Montego Bay, St James, is now shuttered.

It is yet to be determined whether this is a temporary measure or if it will morph into another enterprise.

The COVID-19 pandemic was particularly punishing to gaming businesses as people’s movements were restricted. This may very well have impacted the Montego Bay operation where tourist arrivals to the Second City were significantly reduced.

The location, 100 Kingston on Hope Road, however continues to thrive and remains a hot spot for diners. Many football fans enjoy watching the big games there.

Lead principal of Mega Mart, Gassan Azan entered the local gaming business back in 2014 with his company, Sizzling Slots.

Following the opening of 100 in Kingston, in 2015, he launched a second 100 in Catherine Hall, Montego Bay at a 3,000-square-foot facility on August 23, 2018.
