Slain jockey O’Neil Mullings

Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited (SVREL), operators of Caymanas Park, are shocked and saddened by the sudden and tragic passing of jockey O’Neill Mullings.

Preliminary reports indicate Mullings was killed in a dispute in the St Andrew South Police Division on Sunday (September 21).

Supreme Ventures, in a statement, noted that Mullings was a veteran of Jamaican thoroughbred racing with 415 career wins.

Mullings, whose riding career began in 2002, was dedicated to the saddle, which made him a respected figure among his peers and in Jamaica’s racing community.

“We express our deepest sympathies to his family, colleagues in the racing fraternity and loved ones. May his soul rest in peace,” the company said.
