The Milwaukee Bucks pulled off a gutsy 113–109 win over the Detroit Pistons, shaking off an early scare when Giannis Antetokounmpo left the game just minutes after tipoff. The two-time MVP collapsed to the floor in the third minute and needed help getting to the locker room.
Detroit pounced on the moment, exploding to an 18-point lead in the first quarter. But Milwaukee refused to fold. Bit by bit, the Bucks clawed their way back into the game, finally flipping the script in the fourth.
Kevin Porter Jr led the charge with 26 points, Ryan Rollins added 22, and AJ Green lit up the final quarter with 11 of his 19 to complete the rally. It was only Milwaukee’s second win in their last 10 outings, but it felt like a much bigger breakthrough.
The Pistons, despite the loss already their fifth of the season, still sit atop the Eastern Conference, while the Bucks remain in 10th place.
Milwaukee initially suspected Antetokounmpo had strained his right calf, but they’ll wait for results from an MRI to know more. The game also arrived amid swirling chatter about Giannis weighing his future with the team, though head coach Doc Rivers insisted there’ve been no talks about trading the franchise star.
