Midas Entertainment and 8 Rivaz will continue the summer staging of the ENCORE LIVE SERIES with Reggae Soul, featuring acclaimed reggae singer Duane Stephenson and the Kurfew Band on Sunday, July 26, 2026. 

The intimate live music experience will take place at 8 Rivaz Ultra Lounge, Main Street, Ocho Rios, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Known for his soulful vocals, thoughtful songwriting and commanding live performances, Stephenson will lead patrons through an evening of authentic reggae music supported by the Kurfew Band. The staging is designed to create a close connection between the artiste and audience within an elevated lounge environment.

Reggae Soul forms part of the ENCORE LIVE SERIES, a premium entertainment experience created to combine live Jamaican music, culture, hospitality and nightlife. The series is intended to strengthen the live entertainment offering on Jamaica’s north coast while providing residents, visitors and music lovers with consistent access to respected Jamaican performers.

It’s about creating a home for premium live reggae experiences on the North Coast,” Errol Smith, Managing Director of Midas Entertainment, explained. The July 26 event will place Stephenson’s music at the centre of an intimate evening created for reggae enthusiasts, professionals, tourists and lifestyle audiences seeking a sophisticated Sunday entertainment experience. Performing with a live band will allow Stephenson to showcase the depth of his catalogue and the musicality that has helped to distinguish him as one of reggae’s respected contemporary voices. Smith also  added, “Duane Stephenson represents everything we love about reggae: great songs, genuine artistry and an incredible live performer.”

The ENCORE LIVE summer series will build towards its major finale at Plantation Cove in St. Ann on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Dubbed ENCORE LIVE: Culture Rising, the large-scale staging will be headlined by reggae and dancehall icon Capleton, with appearances by Nesbeth and acclaimed saxophonist Dean Fraser. Culture Rising will run from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will bring the series to a close with a premium day-to-evening celebration of Jamaican music, sound system culture and live entertainment.
