It was a chilling sight.

Damar Hamlin, a 24-year-old safety for the Buffalo Bills, lay motionless for minutes after tackling Cincinatti Bengals receiver Tee Higgins during Monday night’s game.

Higgins, fending off Hamlin, pushed him in the chest, which may have sent the Buffalo Bills player into cardiac arrest.

CPR was administered while he lay on the field and an ambulance quickly whisked him to hospital where he remains sedated but in a critical condition.

The game was postponed while the crowd and television audiences were aghast as the prostrate body of the football warrior drew concern.

REEVALUATE HOW GAME IS PLAYED

Questions are again being raised about the safety of American football players, with some calling for a re-evaluation of how the game is played.

The 2015 movie Concussion, starring Will Smith and based on a GQ article, drew attention to the neurotrauma suffered by players and the impact hits take on cognitive function.

The NFL has paid closer attention to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).

There can be little doubt that American football is a violent activity and being hit hard by grown men weighing in excess of 220 pounds can cause trauma.

Tom Brady, perhaps the greatest quarterback in the game, retired only to return the same year to hunt for another Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, aged 45. He has recently split from his wife, the model Gisele Bundchen, who has expressed concern for his safety in the game, publicly declaring she doesn’t like him taking hits at his age and would like to see him permanently retired.

A man’s got to do, what a man’s got to do.

Some point to the high number of cardiac arrests in the game over the last two years and have drawn a correlation with COVID and vaccination jabs. Is this the reason why young men in their prime are having heart issues and collapsing?

CDC DEBUNKS ONE AMERICA REPORT

One America News Network reveals that 769 athletes have collapsed on the field during  games from March 2021 to March 2022, citing a spike in cardiac issues. The CDC has debunked this and it may be a media play to discredit the vaccines.

The University Hospital in Lausanne, Switzerland released a study that shows between January  2021 to April 2022, athlete deaths or those collapsing have risen by 1,700 per cent since the COVID vaccine roll out.

“We have no concrete updates right now. Last night they administered CPR on the field and got his vitals to a stable position.”

Coincidence? Vast exaggerations to incite fear?

Jordan Rooney, a family representative of Damar Hamlin, said: “We have no concrete updates right now. Last night they administered CPR on the field and got his vitals to a stable position.

“I’m not sure on the exact medical term, but he is sedated. He is intubated and I’m not sure if that is the same as an induced coma. From that point there hasn’t been a major update, they are really just monitoring him and seeing how he is and how it is best for him to recover.”
