Internationally acclaimed author, entrepreneur, and relationship expert, Paul Carrick Brunson, is set to headline the JMMB Group’s financial empowerment event, JMMB Elevate, alongside renowned media personality, entrepreneur and community-builder, Dr Terri-Karelle Reid.
Other speakers include financial coach Anna Palomino, financial specialist, Keisha Bailey, and business journalist, David Rose.
The annual event returns on January 21 as a hybrid event, after a two-year break from the in-person format due to the pandemic.
Kerry-Ann Stimpson, chief marketing officer at JMMB Group, said the company is committed to helping more Jamaicans become financially savvy.
“We are very selective with the speakers we engage for JMMB Elevate each year, as our goal is to empower more Jamaicans to become financially literate and change their mindset to wealth,” Stimpson said.
She also noted that the audience gravitates more towards speakers who they can relate to.
“We have found that sharing the success stories of our own people who have found the formula to create wealth for themselves is relatable to our audience. Paul, whose mother is Jamaican, is a talented and gifted speaker. He has presented at this event in the past and his popularity among the audience was overwhelming, so we had to bring him back for another run.”
Brunson will take to the stage for an hour-and-a-half-long presentation about building and monetising your personal brand, during the day-long event.
Returning to the stage is Palomino, who has made a name for herself educating her close to 20,000 online followers about financial planning, management, and wealth creation.
Palomino who is to deliver a presentation on ‘How to Retire Early and Live Your Life’, is excited to share her knowledge with the attendees.
“I started counting down for JMMB Elevate from the moment I was invited to speak. It is important that we have financial conversations that help our people plan for their future, and that is definitely something that’s right up my alley. I can’t wait!”
The fifth staging
JMMB Elevate, which is in its fifth year, is JMMB’s annual financial empowerment summit geared towards empowering more Jamaicans to rethink money and wealth creation.
Dubbed JMMB Elevate 5.0: Living Your Best Life, attendees will view educational presentations, coupled with interactive games that will engage their minds around financial management, investments, and retirement.
This year, 3,400 participants are expected to sign up to attend the event online, with 400 of the registrants attending in-person.
For the first time, JMMB Elevate will take on a hybrid approach in response to the increasing demand for the summit.
“Our last staging of JMMB Elevate was over-subscribed and, after a long-awaited in-person staging, we wanted to ensure that we were able to accommodate as many participants as possible. So, this time, some persons will join us in-person and others will join us virtually, via the Zoom platform,” Stimpson said.
“The JMMB Elevate online registration portal is open for registrations. Spaces are very limited, so we encourage all interested participants to sign up right away,” urged Stimpson.
Attendance is free of charge. Persons may visit the JMMB Elevate portal here to register.
Registration will close when all spaces are filled.
