A second quake shakes Jamaica, Cuba

A second earthquake was felt across sections of Jamaica, coming an hour after the first quake at 10:50.

The quake at 11:50 is estimated at 6.8 magnitude, according to the US Geological Survey. It struck 62km from Pilon, Cuba.

It reportedly affected Cuba, Jamaica, The Bahamas, Haiti, the US and minor outlying areas.

Earlier, a magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck close to the southeast coast of Cuba and was felt in Jamaica, Cuba, The Bahamas, the Cayman Islands and Haiti.
