

A postmortem report has concluded that Acting Deputy Commissioner of Corrections-Rehabilitation and Probation Aftercare Services, Reverend Orville Moore died due to strangulation.
The disclosure was made by Deputy Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey yesterday (June 12). He added that the investigations are ongoing.
“Our investigation is not closed. We have not seen any evidence that there was any third party travelling with him…or there is no reason to have any suspicion that there was any third party at the location,” DCP Bailey explained.
Meanwhile, he is appealing to anyone with information on the incident to come forward. Persons with information can call the 881 tip line, Crime Stop at 311, or the police emergency number at 119.
According to recent reports, Moore’s body was discovered on Thursday (June 1) beside his silver Fortuner vehicle in Spur Tree Manchester.
Rev. Moore was last seen on Monday (May 29), leaving his relatives’ home off Molynes Road.
