The A’Legends brand, in association with the A’Legends Helping Hands Foundation, successfully hosted a powerful Hurricane Melissa Relief Drive on Saturday, November 2, 2025, uniting the community to collect critical supplies for families in Jamaica affected by the devastating storm.
The event, held at Port Royal Cuisine in Lansdowne, PA, with an additional drop-off location at Shana Caribbean Café in Philadelphia, drew overwhelming community support.
Dozens of donors contributed rice, canned goods, baby formula, vitamins, hygiene products, batteries, cleaning supplies, and other essentials, demonstrating the strength and compassion of the diaspora.
“Jamaica has done a lot for me and my family. Seeing so many people come together with one mission to help rebuild and restore hope was truly heartwarming,” said Jenelle Alexia, founder of A’Legends and organiser of the initiative. “This is what community looks like. One band, one sound.”
All collected items will be shipped to Jamaica in four barrels and distributed directly to affected families through trusted local organisations. The relief drive continues the A’Legends Helping Hands Foundation’s mission of service, unity, and empowerment for those in need both locally and internationally.
