A mixed outlook awaits the motoring public come tomorrow (August 25), as State-owned refinery, Petrojam, announced an update to its baseline prices.

Petrojam, in its latest petroleum product index, has slashed $4.50 off 87-octane gasolene prices, which now close at J$206.16, effective tomorrow (August 25).

Prices were reduced only for 87- and 90-octane gasolene, as costs went up for Petrojam’s other commonly sought products.

It is expected that retailers will add their mark-ups to the announced prices.
