Family, friends and music industry players gathered at the iconic Tuff Gong Studios off Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston last Wednesday (October 8) for the launch of Naomi Cowan’s album ‘Welcome To Paradise‘.

Tuff Gong studio was where Bob Marley recorded some of his classic hits. The studio has wooden panelling, and its design is sheer character, one of a kind.

It was a good location to pick for Naomi’s launch, and she played a number of tracks from the new album before a live audience. The set had an ‘MTV Unplugged/Daryl’s House‘ vibe about it.

Welcome to Paradise‘ is a good album and showcases Naomi Cowan’s talents as both a writer and singer. This album deserves wide airplay and recognition.
