Bank of Jamaica (BOJ)-licensed foreign exchange and remittance provider Alliance Financial Services Limited (AFSL) has officially signed an agreement with Ria Money Transfer (Ria), a global leader in the cross-border money transfer industry and business segment of Euronet Worldwide, Inc.
AFSL, a Sagicor Jamaica Group subsidiary, will take advantage of Ria’s industry-leading service portfolio across its network in Jamaica, thus introducing an additional international money transfer provider to its growing portfolio. This partnership allows AFSL to further enhance its offerings to Jamaican consumers, both in-branch and online, while increasing touchpoints for Ria.

“This partnership with Ria underscores our commitment to providing clients with additional trusted, convenient, and reliable remittance options. It expands our network of partners and enables us to serve even more Jamaicans with international connections,” Omar Brown, CEO of Alliance Financial Services Limited, said.

With approximately 631,000 physical locations and presence in 200 countries and territories, as well as access to 4.1 billion bank accounts, 3.2 billion digital wallets and 4.0 billion Visa debit cards through Visa Direct payments, Ria continues to make significant strides across the Caribbean. The collaboration with Alliance Financial Services Limited supports Ria’s mission to deliver faster, more affordable, and accessible remittance solutions to the region, connecting Jamaicans with their loved ones worldwide.
“We are proud to join forces with AFSL to deliver innovative money transfer solutions to the Caribbean,” shared Rosario Escarpita, SVP & Managing Director, Americas at Ria.
“Through this collaboration, Ria is not only able to provide convenience and trust for the Jamaican community, but also to create real value for customers and drive economic growth to build a stronger financial future across the region,” she added.

AFSL is also a primary agent for MoneyGram Payment Systems in Jamaica, another internationally recognised and reputable remittance provider. With the addition of Ria, AFSL now offers customers greater flexibility and more options to send or receive funds from abroad.
At present, Alliance Financial Services operates six proprietary branches across the island, in Kingston, Portmore, May Pen, Mandeville, and Montego Bay. It also supports a network of 96 subagent locations. These service points accommodate both in-branch and digital transactions, ensuring wide access to remittance services throughout Jamaica.
Looking ahead, AFSL remains focused on digital innovation and expansion, leveraging technology and strategic partnerships to better serve Jamaicans at home and abroad.
