Amanda Anisimova defeats Iga Swiatek to claim last spot in ‘WTA Finals’ semis

Amanda Anisimova battled past world number two Iga Swiatek in a three-set duel on Wednesday (November 5) to book her place in the WTA Finals semis alongside the unbeaten Elena Rybakina.

Anisimova recovered from losing the opening set to claim a 6-7 (3-7) 6-4 6-2 victory.

The WTA Finals, featuring the world’s top eight singles and doubles players, is offering an impressive £12 million prize pool.
