Amazing Concrete Finishes (ACF) opened its second location on Saturday (November 26), a 400- square- foot facility completed with a showroom and ready- mix plant located in Montego Bay, St James.
The company prides itself on being the leading brand for specialty decorative concrete products, filling the need for decorative concrete processes and finishes in the construction industry.
Now opened at 5 Lower Bevin Avenue, the company said they will provide transformation for any surface into a masterpiece and offer installation of decorative coatings on several concrete surfaces.
With the opening of their second location, Western Jamaica will have access to premium decorative concrete technologies and solutions, said ACF’s CEO Yannick Sharpe.
Because of “the establishment of this location in St. James we will be able to offer our solutions right across the island more effectively with showrooms on both sides of the island,” he explained.
Sharpe also added that new services will be provided at the new location, which are not currently available in Kingston.
“The Montego Bay location has in place a ready-mix concrete plant, which we do not have in Kingston. This will enable us to manipulate the concrete in many ways. This includes colour, texture, design and more.”
Plans were also announced by the CEO to add another local location in Mandeville, as well as regionally launch operations in Guyana and the Americas.
In attendance at the grand opening was Dr Norman Dunn, state minister in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce, who commended the company on its investment in Jamaica’s economy and continued growth.
“It is clear that Amazing Concrete Finishes Ltd. has established a solid business model which is resulting in a sustainable and scalable presence in the marketplace,” said Dunn.
He added that the new location will also provide more choices to consumers who want to renovate their homes and will act as a source of employment for citizens in the area.
Beginning operations in January of 2011, ACF has provided services to some of the island’s most well-known businesses including Chukka Adventures, Barita Investments, iCreate, Windalco, General Food Supermarket, J. Wray and Nephew and Moon Palace Jamaica Grande.
Some of the companies services include decorative concrete pieces on walkways, driveways, interior design areas, patios, decks, and pool areas.
