Amazing Talent Set To ignite the stage at Kingston Curry Festival

2024 Sterling Gospel Music EP Awardee Prince Saj headlines a list of talented artists that are slated to ignite the stage at the 2024 staging of the Kingston Curry Festival, set for Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Devon House, Kingston. 

Included in the stellar lineup are 2019 Jamaica Gospel Song finalist Lorenza Rowe, musical sensation Ecina, 2022 Digicel Rising Star Winner Mozein, rising star Melia, with special live performance by gospel singer, Johnmark Wiggan. Comedian Ity Ellis will keep the festivities going as the master of ceremonies.

“We are elated about our artiste’s this year. Patrons can expect a spectacular time from their performances. As our name suggests great food and good music; we will ensure that everyone enjoys not just the delectable curry dishes, but also the vibe that we have now become known for,” said Leighton Davis, organizer and Managing Director of Project2Project Consultants. 

This year’s event has teamed up with several partners and sponsors including Spicy Hill Farms, Betta Pak Curry, Gustazo’s, Blaktie Images, Grace Foods, Stewart Automotives, Tourism Enhancement Fund, Oxford Trading Limited, Tourism Linkages Network and Insight Studios.  You can expect delicious spicy cuisine to tantalize your tastebuds in our central food court.

“The excitement is building as vendors and chefs get ready to prepare their signature dishes for patrons. We look forward to entertaining all our guests,” Davis said. 

Over 40 food traders have already confirmed. Veggie Meals on Wheels will be selling their signature ital dishes, while Ali’s Roti Shop is one of the most popular and notable names in the Kingston as it relates to food.

Super Spicy Doubles as well as Khazana foods will both be selling authentic Indo-Trinidadian dishes including ‘Doubles’ and ‘Pholourie’ both of which are street food favourites in the twin island republic. The Reggae Chefs will also be doing curry oxtail.

e of this every type of foods comes with vegetarian varieties. “If you are a vegetarian, do not worry, vegetarian curries include curry sweet potato, curry ackee, curry tofu, and many others,” Davis said. 

Tickets are $2000 pre-sold, and $3,000 at the gate; and are available at Total, New Kingston, Grab and Go Jacks Hill and Mary Brown’s Corner. Children under 12 are free.
