Andre McLean to take on wider portfolio of responsibilities at Guardsman Group

Guardsman Group stalwart, Andre McLean has been appointed President of Beryllium Limited.

Beryllium is part of the Guardsman Group of Companies and Jamaica’s leading outsourcing company for high-risk technology and finance processes.

McLean, who has been with Guardsman for 15 years, will also continue with his other duties which include, Group Director of International Operations, Managing Director of Guardsman Barbados Limited and as a Director of the Independent Armoured Car Operators Association.

He has also held the positions of Group Financial Controller and Group Director of Operations and Technology.

McLean is a chartered accountant and holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of the West Indies as well as a BSc in Management Studies and Accounts.

In August of this year, Lititia Myers Gray demitted her position as president and CEO of Beryllium Limited after nine years of sterling service to the Guardsman Group and playing a pivotal role in expanding its footprint.

McLean’s areas of specialisation are financial and operational analysis, evaluation, strategic planning, assessment, asset management and controls, human resource management, acquisitions, business development and negotiation.
